* To choose your bodyboard size, the height (eg. 37 inches) should go to your bellybutton or above.

With children, a bodyboard must be at least up to their bellybutton. The bodyboard can be taller than their bellybutton, as this will give them added floatation in the water and growing room. It is recommended to be around the bellybutton height as to give the user enough floatation and still give the ability to do turns on the board. But because children at this age are mainly just lying on the board and catching the wave in, it can be taller than their bellybutton.
